Private inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services in Hervey Bay

St Stephen’s Hospital offers private inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services in the Wide Bay. Our purpose-built, fully equipped rehabilitation unit offers personalised treatment programs for inpatients and outpatients with support from a multidisciplinary team. Our programs are goal-oriented and based on the individualised needs of each patient.

We believe teamwork is key to successful rehabilitation. We have a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, exercise physiologists, speech therapists and a dietitian. Many of our dedicated nursing team have specialised in rehabilitation care. Our chaplain is also always on hand to offer pastoral care to those in need.

We also have a dedicated discharge planner who works with patients and their families to ensure the right community supports are in place to enable patients to safely discharge home.
