Weight Loss Surgery Information Event

Whether you’re already thinking about weight loss surgery or just want more information, St Stephen’s Hospital is here to help.

Our information session is a great way to find out more about your surgical options for weight loss and the expert follow on care we offer. Specialist staff will be on hand to answer questions and healthy nibbles and non-alcoholic drinks will be served.

Speakers

• Dr Mikhail Mastakov, specialist in weight loss surgery, will describe how to get started and how weight loss surgery could help improve your health and get your weight under control. Anaesthetist Dr Chris Thomas will also join Dr Mastakov.
• Dieticians Jennifer Handley and Stephanie Boniface will summarise the nutritional requirements pre and post-surgery to improve your outcomes.
• Psychologist Leanne Folling will discuss her focus of bringing balance back to your life after surgery.
• Staff from the St Stephen’s Allied Health team will also be on hand to answer any questions.

Getting to Our Event

The Jean Freeman Conference Room is located on Level One of the Hospital. Enter via the main entrance and go up the stairs directly behind Reception and turn left. For lift usage - go past Reception on the Ground Level and go up to Level One. Parking is free.
